If this ought to be a comparison to politicians its failing hard. Most politicians never learned anything specific for that role – contrary to a pilot.
It's your perspective. I don't read it that way. I read it has absolutely clueless people feeling entitled to say that they are better than life-long experienced and rightfully qualified professionals at any given job responsible for other peoples lives in society. This is a commercial flight, but it could be a hospital, etc. Classic Dunning-Kruger effect.
